Walleye Weekend is here!

Fond du Lac’s biggest summer festival is back as Walleye Weekend officially gets underway today, Friday, June 12, 2026, at Lakeside Park.

The three-day festival brings thousands of visitors to the lakefront for a packed schedule of activities, including live music, family entertainment, sporting events and food, all centered around the Mercury walleye fishing tournament.

Families can enjoy the Kids Zone and entertainment throughout the park, while music fans can find performances from local bands such as The Glam Band, Road Trip, Flannel Revival and Driftwood.

Attendees can get a walleye dinner or sandwich at what is billed as the worlds largest walleye fish fry.

In total, nine non profit organizations will have tents with food such as burgers and cheese curds as well as alcohol beverages.

New this year will be a sand sculpting contest and a sidewalk chalk art contest.

Walleye Weekend is free to attend and runs through Sunday at Lakeside Park. A full schedule of activities can be found on the festival’s website fdlfest.com/walleyeweekend.
