Waterfowl Hunters EXPO coming to Oshkosh

The Midwest’s premier event for waterfowlers is back — and it’s bigger than ever. The Waterfowl Hunters EXPO returns to the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for an expanded two-day experience, August 22–23, 2025, bringing together thousands of passionate hunters, families, conservationists, and top outdoor brands from across the country.

Now in its fifth year, the EXPO has grown into a must-attend celebration of all things waterfowl. What began as a grassroots effort to bring the community together has exploded into a full-fledged destination event, with over 190 exhibitors, 290+ vendor booths, interactive shooting and dog zones, duck and goose calling contests, educational seminars from top industry experts, duck carving contest and exhibition.

“This isn’t your average outdoor show — it’s an immersive, hands-on experience tailored to waterfowl hunters and their families,” says Bruce Ross, Executive Director with the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association. “Whether you’re new to hunting or a seasoned veteran, the EXPO delivers something for everyone — and it’s growing every year.”

A Focus on Conservation, Community, and the Future of the Sport

The EXPO is proudly produced by the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association (WWA) in partnership with leading conservation groups, outdoor retailers, and hunting brands. The event’s mission is rooted in education, advocacy, and ensuring the next generation of hunters is well-equipped and inspired.

Attendees can explore designated activity zones including the Women’s Zone, Youth & Family Zone, Dog Demonstration Area, and the always-popular Shooting Venue, which includes a “Try & Buy”, trap range, pellet gun range, archery, and more.

“This is where lifelong passions are sparked,” adds Youth Zone Coordinator Reed Kabelowsky. “It’s a place where kids shoot a bow for the first time, women get hands-on with gear and tactics, and everyone leaves more excited for the upcoming season.”
