Waupun area man found deceased in vehicle after going into ditch

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what led to a 91-year-old Waupun man dying while driving on Highway 151 near Waupun.

A passerby reported a car in the ditch on 151 between Highways 49 and 26 around 2 PM Thursday, June 27, 2024. When an officer arrived, they found the man deceased in the vehicle.

Its unknown if the man suffered a medical condition or if going into the ditch is what killed the man. Authorities are asking if anyone witnessed the vehicle going into the ditch, to call the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
