Waupun Man Cited For Short Chase

A 20-year-old Waupun man led police in Waupun on a short chase Sunday morning. Deputy Chief Scott Louden says an officer spotted an unauthorized license plate on the car and tried to pull it over. The driver led police on about a two block chase pulling over in his own driveway. He told the officer he was on his way to work and got scared when he saw the squad car. The driver was cited for fleeing, unauthorized plates, and driving without a license.
