Waupun Man Faces Trial in Fatal Crash

A Waupun man is heading to trial for a fatal crash that happened nearly two years ago. 58-year old James Jensen is charged with Second-Degree Reckless Homicide, Homicide by Negligent Operation of a Vehicle, and Recklessly Endangering Safety. Jensen hit another vehicle head-on near Waupun in November of 2016 – killing 23-year old Brock Hoekstra – who was a passenger in his mother’s car. Another passenger, 17-year old Austin Burckhardt, was also seriously injured. Jensen is currently free after posting a $10,000 cash bond.
