Week 2: Fond du Lac Football Preview

The Fond du Lac Cardinals return home to Cardinal Stadium tonight for a highly anticipated Week 2 matchup against the Milwaukee Marquette Hilltoppers in the high school football season.

Fond du Lac enters the game riding high after a dominant road win over Hartford in Week 1. Senior running back Mason Henschel led the charge, rushing for 126 yards and scoring two touchdowns. On the defensive side, Guardian Harris anchored the unit with nine tackles and a key turnover, helping seal the victory.

Marquette, meanwhile, looks to bounce back after a tough opening loss to state powerhouse Hartland Arrowhead, falling 53-22. Despite the defeat, junior quarterback Ben Schroeder showcased his talent, throwing for 318 yards and three touchdowns. Turnovers late in the game proved costly for the Hilltoppers, but the offense showed flashes of explosive potential.
