–The Cardinals fell behind 7-0 in the first quarter, but rattled off 30 unanswered points in the win over the Lightning. Eben Sauer had touchdown runs of 50 and 49 yards to charge the Cardinals’ attack. Fondy travels to Kingsford (MI) in non-conference action next Friday.

–Four different Ledgers scored rushing touchdowns, while Mitchell Waechter threw for 141 yards and a score to lead Springs to a win over their out-of-state visitors Friday night. Through three games, the Ledgers have outscored their opponents 120-0.

–Gideon Wenig and Josh Huey each ran for two touchdowns in the win for WLA.
