Weekend Fires

The Division Chief of Fire Prevention for Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue says there was nothing suspicious about the fire at 142 Central Avenue last Friday afternoon. Troy Haase says it started on the first floor. He says from a bedroom it went through a chase between the walls and went up to the second floor. A second house fire occurred at 313 East 2nd Street early Saturday morning. Haase says three people were taken to the hospital. He says one for smoke inhalation, but two others just to be checked over. He says all three were in the home when the fire occurred.
