WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament (Day 3):

Division 1:

285 Pounds: Fond du Lac’s Donte Johnson finishes in 3rd place. Johnson defeated Quinn Meinerz of Hartford in the consolation round by a 6-2 decision. Johnson then defeated Daniel Cole of Ashwaubenon by a 12-3 major decision to earn 3rd place.

Division 2:

106 Pounds: Tyler Garriety of Lomira finishes in 3rd place. Garriety defeated Tommy Larson of East Troy by a 3-2 decision to advance to the 3rd place match. For 3rd place, Garriety defeated Lucas Joniaux of Luxemburg-Casco by a 12-2 major decision.

152 Pounds: Chase Parr of Lomira finishes in 3rd place. Parr defeated Sam Burzynski of Stanley-Boyd/Owen-Withee by a 3-2 decision and Devan Vandenbush of Luxemburg-Casco by a 1-0 decision to take 3rd.

170 Pounds: Carter Veleke of Waupun finishes in 4th place. Veleke defeated Brice Delzer of Oconto Falls by a 6-2 decision and lost to Tyler Hannah of Viroqua by a 5-2 decision to place 4th.

182 Pounds: Matt Koelbel of Campbellsport finishes in 4th place. Koelbel defeated Ebenezer Ikhumhen of Wisconsin Lutheran by a 5-3 decision and lost to Lucas Fugate of Belmont/Platteville in the 3rd place match by a pin in 3:34.

195 Pounds: Collin Feucht of Lomira finishes in 3rd place. Feucht defeated Hayden Arneson of Monroe by a 6-4 decision and Ty Sanford of Prescott by a 7-2 decision to finish 3rd.

285 Pounds: Adam Kinyon of Lomira finishes in 6th place. Kinyon lost to Josh Frerk of Denmark by a 3-0 decision and Nick Rueth of Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal in the 5th place match by a 1-0 decision.

Division 3:

126 Pounds: Laconia’s Zachary Foth finishes in 6th place. Foth was pinned by Andrew Gunderson of Cadott in 2:59 and by Dylan Bune of Spring Valley/Elmwood in the 5th place match.

182 Pounds: Laconia’s Caleb Hopp finishes in 4th place. Hopp defeated Will Raatz of Edgar by an 8-6 sudden victory then was pinned by Marshall Westfall of Athens in 4:08 in the 3rd place match.
