Winnebago Highway 91 construction set to start after Labor Day Weekend

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces a live, online Construction Information Meeting (CIM) to discuss construction scope, schedule, and traffic impacts for work beginning September 9, 2024 on WIS 91 between WIS 44 and the west Winnebago County line in Winnebago County.

This meeting will be held live via Microsoft Teams. Project engineers will share construction maps and exhibits, road closure information, detour displays, schedule of operations, and temporary signing information for businesses impacted by road construction.

WIS 91 Live, Online Construction Information Meeting via Teams

  • When: Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 3 p.m.

Construction includes:

  • Improve at-grade railroad crossing on WIS 91 at Clairville Road intersection
  • Construction of WIS 91 bridge over Waukau Creek
  • Replacement of WIS 91 twin culverts between James Road and Clairville Road with a box culvert

WIS 91 will be closed and detoured for structure work starting September 9, 2024. The detour will utilize County M and WIS 44.
