Wisconsin Confirms First Synthetic Marijuana-Related Death

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is confirming a death in Milwaukee County related to the use of synthetic marijuana. This is the first confirmed death in Wisconsin linked to a recent outbreak of 45 cases since March. Authorities have been seeing cases where the drug, also known as K2 or Spice, is laced with rat poison – causing severe internal bleeding.
