WLA’s Nell with 1,000 points and Area Scores

WLA standout Lindsey Nell became only the third player in Winnebago Lutheran Academy history to achieve 1,000 points in a career as she gave her team 26 points last night in a 68-58 win over Omro. Leah Theisen added 15 points for WLA.

Boys Hockey Scores:

Fond du Lac 4 Ashwaubenon 1

After a scoreless first period Blake Spies opened the scoring for the Cardinals. Ashwaubenon responded with a goal of their own. Tysen Craig put the Cardinals ahead on a nice play down the center of the ice. Defenseman Connor Klapperich scored with 33 seconds in the second with a hard wrist shot on great pass from Tysen Craig. Eli Stewart added a PP goal for the Cardinals for a 4-1 final.

Spencer Shober had 23 saves in the win

FDL now improves to 10-5-1 on the season.
