Woman taken into custody after pursuits while allegedly driving while intoxicated

An intoxicated driver led multiple agencies on a high speed pursuit early Thursday morning, March 13, 2025.
At 3:25 AM a State Patrol Trooper clocked a Mercury Milan at 84 mph in a 70 mph zone, on I-41 southbound in Outagamie County. The trooper pursued the vehicle after the driver refused to pull over, making it down to Main Street in the Neenah area before terminating the pursuit due to reckless driving.
Minutes later a Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputy spotted the vehicle still traveling at a high rate of speed southbound at Snell Road on the north side of Oshkosh, but due to having a no chase policy, they didn’t pursue.
Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies were advised of the pursuit and set up to watch for the vehicle. They spotted the car still southbound near the north end of the county and started another pursuit.
At this point, the vehicle was travelling well over 100 mph.
With all the advanced notice, other deputies as well as state patrol troopers, North Fond du Lac and City of Fond du Lac officers were all waiting for the vehicle, set up with tire deflation devices.
The vehicle hit one of the devices at Townline Road, flattening three tires and the driver, a 25-year-old female from Appleton, pulled over at the North Fond du Lac exit where she was taken into custody for eluding law enforcement and suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
At least one other vehicle received a flat tire from hitting stop sticks, but other than that, no property damage or injuries occurred from any of the pursuits.
