Young Oakfield Softball Team Understands the Expectations

The Oakfield Softball team, fresh off a runner-up finish in the WIAA Division 5 State Softball Championship, enters the 2025 season with a youthful and somewhat inexperienced roster following the graduation of several key seniors. Due to the WIAA Competitive Balance rule, Oakfield will compete in Division 4 during the tournament. Despite these challenges, the expectations for Oakfield Softball remain high. Head coach Rob Schaefer shares his insights on the upcoming season with KFIZ Sports Director Chuck Freimund.
