2025 Wisconsin gun deer hunt numbers in
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says the 2025 nine-day gun deer hunt wrapped up with a slight decline in hunters and overall harvest numbers compared to last year.
The DNR reported 550,611 gun deer hunt licenses were sold this year with Hunters registering 182,084 deer during the gun season, nearly a 1% decrease from last year. The antlered harvest was down 2.6%, while the antlerless harvest rose nearly 1%.
Including bow and crossbow seasons, hunters have registered 294,757 deer statewide, about 1.1% ahead of the same time frame in 2024 with Marquette County leading the state with 7.9 deer registered per square mile.
According to the DNRs site, Fond du Lac County listed 2245 deer during the gun deer season with 1167 of those being antlered deer.
The deer gun season ran November 22 through the 30th.
