2026 Fond du Lac County Fair starts Wednesday

The Fond du Lac County Fair gets underway today,, Wednesday, July 15, 2026, kicking off five days of agriculture, entertainment, carnival rides, live music, food, and family activities at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds. The fair runs through Sunday, July 19, and carries this year’s theme, “Bright Lights & Summer Nights.”

Wednesday’s schedule starts at 10 a.m. with a flag raising ceremony, and includes junior and open livestock judging, educational exhibits, children’s activities, wood carving demonstrations, and the opening of the popular “MOO”-ternity Ward, where attendees can watch calves being born throughout the week. The midway also opens with rides and games, while fairgoers can enjoy classic food favorites like cheese curds, barbecue, and dozens of other fair foods.

Admission to the fairgrounds is free, with tickets required for grandstand events, which tonight will be the Immel Insurance and Financial Services Tractor and Truck Pull.
