37-year-old woman taken into custody after two Fond du Lac County pursuits
Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies took a female into custody overnight, Monday, September 14, 2026, after she lead law enforcement on two separate high speed pursuits.
Shortly before 3 a.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper attempted to pull a black Ford Edge over for a speed violation, southbound on I-41 near Lincoln Road in the north part of Fond du Lac County.
After reaching speeds of 129 mph, the trooper was told to terminate the pursuit by commanding officers, but by this time Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies were already in position to join the chase.
A deputy spotted the vehicle still southbound at Highway 151 and the driver again sped up in an attempt to elude officers.
Another deputy deployed a tire deflation device near Lost Arrow Road which was successful as the driver continued south on 41. At County Highway B the driver exited but then got right back on 41 southbound and went off the road at the bottom of the on ramp.
A high risk stop was performed and the driver was taken into custody.
Through investigation, it was found the 37-year-old New London woman had three warrants for her arrest, two of which could be served in Fond du Lac County.
She was booked into the Fond du Lac County jail for the warrants as well of charges of Fleeing Eluding, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
