3rd annual Sensory-Inclusive Touch a Truck event planned in Fond du Lac
The SSM Health Treffert Studios Sensory-Inclusive Touch a Truck event will be back for a third year this spring, and organizers are expecting to see a record-breaking attendance of more than 1,000 people!
Hosted by SSM Health Treffert Studios, this free, family-friendly event invites children and families to explore dozens of trucks, heavy equipment, emergency vehicles, and even airplanes – all in a sensory-inclusive environment designed for people who benefit from reduced noise and stimulation with Sirens, horns, and flashing lights being turned off.
More than 30 vehicles and interactive features are expected this year, including fire and police vehicles, construction and utility equipment, the world’s largest articulated dump hauler, a NHRA dragster, a pace car from Road America, and special mascot appearances.
The event will take place Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 4:30 – 6 pm at the Fond du Lac County Airport, at 260 S. Rolling Meadows Drive.
If it’s raining, the event will be moved to Tuesday, June 2 at the same time and location.
The event is free and open to the public.
