Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt Voices Concerns Of Drug Trafficking To Senator Ron Johnson
Fond du Lac County Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt was part of a round table discussion with Wisconsin senator Ron Johnson Tuesday in Milwaukee, joining Washington and Green Lake County Sheriff’s as well as three other experts on the subject of problems President Biden’s open border policies are having with drugs in Wisconsin counties.
Waldschmidt said their department is finding that drug dealers are bringing counterfeit oxycodone pills with the street name M30 into northeast wisconsin by the thousands, obtaining them in border states as they come across from Mexico.
Waldschmidt went on to say “With the border being an open sieve right now, the drug manufacturers in Mexico are not worried and not spending any time or energy or effort or resources on how they’re going to get the drugs across the border.”
Johnson held the meeting as a member of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
