New café to open in downtown Fond du Lac

Downtown Fond du Lac is getting a new café for the new year. A café with coffee and a menu of treats, but what makes this gathering place different is it’s appeal to children.

“Wonder” says it promises to be a haven for children but also a welcoming space for adults looking to savor quality coffee, sweet treats and even a selection of sandwiches.

Everyone gets their spot at Wonder. Adults can gather at the café portion while children can play in areas catered to their age that include activities crafted to stimulate creativity and curiosity.

Wonder says they’ll host a range of programs and events designed to engage children in educational activities from art classes to story time sessions, and will also be a birthday party destination for kids.

Located at 15 north Main Street, Wonder will have a grand opening Friday, January 5th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 AM, followed by a two-day event on Saturday and Sunday, the 5th and 6th from 8 AM to 1 PM.

Wonder’s hours will be 7 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday and 8 AM to 1 PM Sat and Sun.
