I-41 lanes of traffic blocked by jackknifed semi Tuesday

The southbound lanes of I-41 in Fond du Lac County were closed for a period of time Tuesday, July 2, 2024, due to a truck jackknifing across both lanes.

Around 12:30 PM, officers with the Wisconsin State Patrol and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Highway 41 near N for a reported vehicle rollover crash.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the vehicle on the side of the road in the southbound lanes, about a 1/4 mile south of County Highway N. A few minutes later, while police were working that scene, a southbound semi jackknifed and blocked both southbound lanes. The highway was closed for about an hour until a heavy duty wrecker could remove the semi.

No injuries were reported in either incident.
