Marian University Announces Two-Year Tuition Freeze

In a move to support students and families and provide stability amidst rising education costs, Marian University is introducing The Marian Promise, a tuition initiative that locks in tuition rates for the 2025-2026 academic year for returning students.  The initiative also provides a two-year tuition guarantee for all new undergraduate enrollees.*

“The past years have been difficult financially in many ways,” said Aaron Sadoff, president of Marian University.  “The initiative provides financial predictability for our students and their families in an unpredictable world.”

The Marian Promise, approved by Marian University’s Board of Trustees at their October 30^th meeting, stabilizes tuition costs and aims to ease financial planning for families, while also strengthening enrollment and retention.  The innovation was a result of Marian’s current strategic planning process.  The complete strategic plan will be announced in early 2025.

Key Components of the Marian Promise:

• Tuition Freeze for Current Students: All currently-enrolled students at Marian University will benefit from a tuition freeze for the 2025-2026 academic year, ensuring that their tuition costs remain consistent.
• Two-Year Tuition Guarantee for New Students: Freshmen and transfer students enrolling for the 2025-2026 school year will receive a two-year tuition guarantee, locking in their tuition rate for both the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years.

Marian University was founded in 1936 by the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes, a group of pioneering sisters in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  The university offers undergraduate, masters and adult learning degrees at its main campus and online.
