Amy R. Bird

Amy R. Bird (Fugate), 50, of St. Cloud, passed away in her residence on Monday, December 2, 2024. She was born on March 26, 1974, in Fond du Lac, WI, to James and Jean Fugate (Cizek). Amy was a bright light in this world, able to spark a conversation with anyone. She shared her beautiful, witty personality wherever she went, touching the hearts of many.

Amy found joy in bartending, where her charm and radiant smile made people return just to see her. In her free time, she loved to paint and draw, showcasing her incredible talent. She also enjoyed shooting pool, baking delicious treats, and spending time with her loved ones. Whether you knew Amy personally or had just met her, you would have loved her. Her greatest love was for her family, friends, and her two Boxers, Rubble and Marley “Bob.”

She is survived by her parents, James and Jean Fugate; her two children, Kiala Wittchow (Spencer) and Xavier Ckonjevic; her two grandchildren, Bently and Charlotte Wittchow; her two fur babies, Rubble and Marley “Bob”; and her two brothers, DeWaine (Rudilyn) and Dale (Maureen) Fugate. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Robert Cizek, uncle Louis Cizek, uncle Jerry Fugate, aunt Barbara Cizek and, aunt Sharon Davis.

We will hold a Celebration of Life for Amy on January 17th at 1:00 PM at Fatboys in Saint Cloud. She will be cremated as per her wishes, so she will be present, and give everyone a chance to bid farewell. Please come as you are; Amy would have wanted everyone to feel comfortable.

If you’d like to help with food or other contributions, contact Kiala Wittchow on Facebook, who is organizing the event. This is our chance to share memories and support one another in honoring Amy.
