Division Street closed for water utility work

The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works says they will be closing a portion of west Division street Wednesday, January 29, 2025, for water utility repairs and temporary pavement restoration. The closure will be between Hickory and Boardman Street and will begin Wednesday at 7:00 am and remain closed until end of day Monday, February 3. The work had been planned to be completed earlier in January but bitter cold in the area led to several broken water mains in the city which took priority over the scheduled work.
