Ripon man detained for possession of child pornography

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office was assigned an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation that originated in the town of Oak Grove after they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

As a result of the tip and a subsequent investigation, Alan J. Douglas, age 38 of Ripon, was booked into the Dodge County Jail and charges requested of the district attorney’s office for Possession of Child Pornography, a Class D Felony.

Alan J. Douglas had his initial court appearance on March 3, 2025, and was held on a $3,000 cash bond.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is leading this investigation and was assisted by the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations Digital Forensics Unit.
