Tiffany Gurath
Tiffany Gurath, 57, of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away on April 1, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth, humor, kindness, artistry and creativity touched the lives of everyone she knew.
Tiffany was born in Manitowoc, WI, on February 16, 1968, and was a cherished child of Terry (Richard) Burns and Jerry (Wendy) Krueger from Friendswood, TX, and Manitowoc, WI, respectively. She graduated from Goodrich High School in 1986 and went on to travel and experience the world with her career in travel management. She was currently employed with Fox World Travel in Fond du Lac. She previously had many successful entrepreneurial endeavors. Tiffany actively supported many nonprofit organizations in the Fond du Lac community through countless hours of volunteer work – which she felt very passionately about – as helping others was her specialty.
Tiffany was known for her love of family and her love of traveling domestically and internationally. She enjoyed having people over to share stories, cook almost anything, and volunteer to raise up other women in the community. She deeply loved her family pet and best girl, “Subi.” Her heart and soul went into her children, Emily and Joey. Her community knew her as “Mama T” because she mothered and loved all of her kids’ friends as her own. Tiffany was so full of life and adventure, and she will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, humor, and ability to pivot as needed to be there for those she loved so deeply. Survivors include her mother, Terry (Richard) Burns; her father, Jerry (Wendy) Krueger; husband, Joel Gurath; two children, Emily (Dylan) Schifelbine and Joey (Alyssa) Trusk, and their father, William (Chicky) Trusk. She is further survived by her four sisters, Brandee (Michael) Fernandez, Nicole Krueger, Krystal (Derrick) Gossen, and Chris (Randy) Kieffer; and her nieces and nephews, Skylar Geis, Samantha (Kyler) Whitaker, Trevor Chambers, Nathan (Heather) Kieffer, Megan (Keith) Luckow, Kyleigh Fernandez, Gabriella Gossen, and Jeremiah Grossen; along with many other family and friends who loved her dearly. Tiffany was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Krueger; grandparents; aunts; uncles; and beloved friends whom she never forgot.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home in Fond du Lac, WI from 3PM – 6:30PM. A Time of Remembrance Ceremony to follow from 6:30 PM-7 PM.
