NFL starts Thursday in Green Bay – 250,000 expected to attend

The NFL Draft is just days away and northeast Wisconsin is bracing for about a 1/4 of a million visitors who are planning to attend the festivities in Green Bay.
Whether you are headed to the draft or planning unrelated travel to anywhere from Fondu Lac up to Green Bay this weekend, you should plan on travel slow downs, not only due to the increase in traffic, but because of lane closures on I-41 due to construction.
If heading to the NFL Draft, know that it’s free and open to the public, but you’ll need to register through the NFL OnePass app or website.
Also, parking around the stadium will be limited and some roads will also be closed in the area. Its recommended to plan your trip and parking destination before you leave. Traffic can be monitored using the Wisconsin DOT website 511wi.gov.
