Two injured, one seriously, in Dodge County head-on collision

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that happened in their county Sunday, August 17, 2025.

At about 4:20 p.m. they received a report of a two-vehicle head-on crash with injuries on County Highway AI, just south of County Highway S, about two miles west of Juneau.

Preliminary investigation shows a 66-year-old Bryon, Illinois man was driving a pick-up truck southbound on AI when a northbound car driven by a 21-year-old from Beaver Dam, failed to negotiate a curve and entered the northbound lane, colliding head-on with the southbound pick-up.

The driver of the pick-up sustained minor injuries and was transported by Juneau EMS to the Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam. The driver of the car sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to the Aurora Summit Hospital in Oconomowoc by Flight for Life. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
