Driver in custody after leading Fond du Lac County deputies and State Patrol Trooper on chase

A 35-year-old Green Bay man is in custody today after trying to elude Fond du Lac County authorities in a high speed pursuit Sunday, September 7, 2025.
At around 12:40 p.m., a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to pull a vehicle over for a speeding infraction on County Highway Y near County Highway YY, about two miles south of the Village of Oakfield.
Upon activating emergency lights and sirens, the driver failed to yield and continued southbound on County YY.
Once in Dodge County, the driver continued for five miles on Dairy Road before turning east on Farmersville Road, and then back north on County V.
On V, deputies were able to deploy a tire deflation devices which successfully hit at least one tire.
At this point, a Trooper from the Wisconsin State Patrol entered into the chase as the driver turned westbound on Highway 49. There, another tire deflation device was deployed, striking another tire.
As the driver slowed down due to the flattened tires, a deputy initiated a PIT maneuver which is when an officer pushes the rear of the suspect’s vehicle, causing them to lose control and stop.
The 35-year-old Green Bay driver then exited the vehicle but failed to comply with deputies’ commands. Deputies deployed a Taser to subdue him and took him into custody without further incident.
He is being charges with Felony Fleeing/Eluding, Misdemeanor bail jumping as well as various traffic violations.
This was the 5th pursuit Fond du Lac County deputies were involved in in a five day period of time.
