Dodge County woman dies seven days after crash

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has released that a person involved in a crash on August 29th, 2025, in their county has died.

Just after noon on the 29th, deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 16/60 at O’Sixteen Road, near Lowell.

Initial investigation showed a vehicle driven by an 84-year-old woman from Reeseville, failed to yield the right-of-way and was struck by a SUV pulling a boat on a trailer driven by a 73-year-old Hartford man with his 74-year-old wife as a passenger.

The 84 year old woman was transported by ambulance to Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam and then to UW Hospital, where she died Friday, as a result of her injuries. The couple was transported to Marshfield Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office.
