Fond du lac animal rescue and brewery represented in pet photo contest

A pet photo contest based out of Oshkosh is pairing up local breweries with local animal rescues to raise money for pets and kids in Northeast Wisconsin.

New Top Dog is the name of the contest which dog owners can submit a photo of their pet, paired with one of five combinations of pet rescues and breweries, to try and get the most votes for their pups photo.

Contestants compete for prizes and a grand prize of their dog’s photo on a custom beer can from the local brewery they choose to team up with in the contest.

While the contest is based out of Oshkosh, breweries and pet rescues are represented from throughout the Fox Valley with Fond du Lac being one of the teams.

Pet owners can choose the Fond du Lac Beer Company, along with Sandi Paws Animal Rescue.

All five contests will open for registration on January 26th, 2026, and voting will begin on February 2nd. Voting will run for four weeks and the photos on each team with the most votes on March 1st will be crowned the winners.

Money is raised by charging voters $1 per vote with proceeds after expenses going to each of the named animal rescues and the Kiwanis organization.
