Teen photo contest comes to Fond du Lac Public Library
The Fond du Lac Public Library has announced it’s again sponsoring a Fond du Lac Teens Photo Contest this year.
This is the 12th year the library has run the contest, saying no one sees the world exactly the way teens do, and they want them to share their unique point of view through a camera.
Area teens are invited to submit photos in three categories:
Joy, Light & Shadow and and Anything Goes.
The photographer who submits the photo judged best overall will win a grand prize $250 Visa gift card. Honorable mention awards will be given for the winners of each category.
The contest is open to teens who attend school in Fond du Lac County in grades six through 12.
The deadline to enter is the contest is April 10, at 6 p.m.
After the deadline has passed, the library will have a panel judge entries. Entries will be displayed in the library’s Langdon Divers Gallery in May.
Full contest rules and guidelines can be found at the library’s website at fdlpl.org/teenphoto or by calling (920) 322-3940.
