Fond du Lac Police issue update on home invasion call – Report more homes were entered Monday night

The following is an updated press release from the Fond du Lac Police Department.

The Fond du Lac Police Department continues to actively investigate the recent residential entry reported in the Primrose Lane area.

Since our initial response, FDLPD Officers and Detectives have conducted an extensive door-to-door canvas throughout the surrounding neighborhoods. Hundreds of community notices were personally delivered as we worked to connect directly with residents, answer questions, and gather any information that may assist in this investigation.

Through that canvas, we uncovered two additional home entries and several attempted entries that had not yet been reported. We want to sincerely thank the residents who called us and shared information. Your willingness to speak up matters. We are equally grateful for the neighbors who look out for one another and take the time to check in. That sense of community is one of our greatest strengths.

If we were unable to make contact with you and you are returning home this evening, we respectfully ask that you check your home security cameras, doorbell cameras, or other surveillance systems. If your camera captured someone walking through yards overnight, checking door handles, approaching garages, or anything that simply feels out of place even if you are unsure, please contact us. Small details often become important pieces of a larger picture.

Investigators are actively reviewing collected video footage and evidence gathered from the scene and surrounding area. At this time, we are not releasing video or images publicly, as doing so could be detrimental to the integrity of the investigation as a whole. Preserving investigative leads is critical to holding the individual involved accountable.
