St. Mary’s Springs Academy High School presents the musical Grease

St. Mary’s Springs Academy High School will be presenting the musical Grease this weekend.

Set in 1959 at the fictional Rydell High School, Grease follows the summer romance of greaser Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski. Together they navigate the pressures of teenage life, shifting friendships, and the challenge of staying true to themselves, all set to a rock ’n’ roll music score featuring the hits
“Summer Nights” and “Greased Lightning.”

The school says this edition of Grease removes suggestive material and explicit language while preserving the heart, humor, and unforgettable music that have made the show a classic for generations.

The production features a cast of 31 student performers, and 16 technical crew members behind the scenes.

The show runs at Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
