Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County to hold two Housing Application Informational meetings

Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac County is preparing for its next homeownership program.

The Habitat program provides an opportunity for qualified local families to purchase a home through a no-interest mortgage, with families also contributing required “sweat equity” hours toward the construction process.

Applicants must demonstrate a need for housing, have the ability to make the monthly payments and be willing to partner with Habitat.

Applicants also must live or work in Fond du Lac County for at least one year and meet other income and employment requirements.

The group will be holding two upcoming Housing Application Informational meetings.

Both meetings take place at Church of Peace on Military Road in Fond du Lac. The first will be Saturday October 17 from 10-11 a.m. and the second will be Thursday, October 22, from 6-7 p.m.
