Rural Vitality Grant Sponsored by Compeer Financial

Nonprofit organizations serving rural communities in Fond du Lac and Dodge counties can now apply for a new grant program funded through Compeer Financial.

The Rural Vitality Grant is being administered by the Fond du Lac Area Foundation and the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation.

Grants will range from ten-thousand to fifty-thousand dollars and can be used to start new programs or expand existing services. Funding is available for projects involving agriculture, community development, housing, workforce development, rural education, leadership development and small business development.

Eligible nonprofits must be 501-C-3 organizations serving communities with fewer than ten-thousand people, or rural micropolitan areas with fewer than fifty-thousand people. The cities of Fond du Lac and Beaver Dam are not eligible because of their population sizes.

October 31st is the application deadline. More information is available through the Fond du Lac Area Foundation.
