Packer great LeRoy Butler teams up with Marian with limited-edition jersey fundraiser
A Green Bay Packers legend is teaming up with Marian University to help single parents pursue a college education.
Pro Football Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler and Marian are offering a limited-edition pink number 36 jersey, with a portion of the proceeds going to Marian’s Working Families Grant Program.
The program helps single parents working toward bachelor’s degrees by providing tuition assistance, living stipends, emergency funding and mentoring.
Butler says the cause is personal to him. He grew up in a family of five children raised by a single mother who worked multiple jobs to support the family.
The Working Families Grant Program has been helping Marian students since 2002. The jerseys are available through Butler’s website, at LeRoyButlerInc.com.
