Ahern Ranked No. 159 on ENR’s Top 200 Environmental Firms List

J. F. Ahern Co. has been ranked No. 159 on Engineering News-Record’s 2026 Top 200 Environmental Firms list, advancing 17 positions from its No. 176 ranking the previous year.

The annual ENR ranking recognizes firms providing construction, engineering, consulting, remediation, and other services across the environmental market. Rankings are based on environmental services revenue from the previous year.

Wastewater treatment accounted for 77% of Ahern’s environmental revenue, followed by water supply and treatment at 15% and air quality and clean energy at 8%. Ninety percent of the company’s environmental revenue came from state and local clients.

Ahern’s continued advancement on the list reflects the company’s experience supporting critical water and wastewater infrastructure through mechanical construction and related services.
