Multiple trick or treat events planned for Fond du Lac area October 31st

Trick or treaters will have plenty of chances to get their bags filled this Saturday, October 31, 2026.

The downtown Monster March will take place from 10 a.m. until noon, featuring trick-or-treating at participating businesses and farmers’ market vendors.

The Town of Fond du Lac’s 4th Annual Trunk or Treat event will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Simon Riverside Park, N6212 Esterbrook Road—located about a quarter-mile south of Van Horn Hyundai. There will be candy, pumpkins, games, local businesses, as well as the Town of Fond du Lac Fire Department on site!

And the City of Fond du Lac’s official trick-or-treat hours are from 3:30 until 5:30 Saturday afternoon.

Families are encouraged to watch for traffic, make sure children can be seen by drivers, and use extra caution when crossing streets.

Children should carry flashlights or wear reflective clothing as daylight fades, and parents should inspect candy before allowing children to eat it.

Residents handing out candy should turn on their porch lights to let trick-or-treaters know they’re welcome.
