SSM Health donation supports future health care workforce through Moraine Park scholarships
SSM Health has donated $10,000 to support the Moraine Park Technical College Foundation’s health care scholarship program, which helps students pursue careers in health care.
“We are grateful to SSM Health for its support of students seeking degrees within our health sciences program. We offer more than 15 pathways to vital and rewarding careers within the health care industry,” said Alicia Mattingly, Moraine Park Foundation development officer. “These scholarships help students overcome financial barriers while preparing for roles that are essential to the health and well-being of our communities.”
As health care workforce shortages continue to affect communities across Wisconsin, Moraine Park Technical College plays an important role in preparing the next generation of skilled health care professionals for the region. Serving more than 15,000 students annually and graduating more than 1,300 students each year, the college helps address workforce needs in health care and other essential industries while strengthening the communities it serves.
“SSM Health understands how vital this next generation of clinicians is to our care delivery team. We appreciate the close partnership we have enjoyed with the Moraine Park Foundation to offer financial support through its scholarship program to support those who have chosen to devote themselves to serving the health care needs of our community,” said Nicole Gill, Vice President and Clinical Administrator for SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital/Ripon Community Hospital
