Gloria J. “Gram” Wendt
Gloria J. Gram Wendt, 84, of Campbellsport passed away Thursday Feb.
13, 2014 at the Beechwood Rest Home. She was born in Milwaukee on May 7,
1929, the daughter of DeLance and Lorrayne (nee Miller) Kehres. On June
19, 1948, Gloria married Alfred F. Wendt in Milwaukee. Gloria worked as
a secretary at General Motors in Milwaukee until retiring. When her
grandsons attended St. Matthews School, Gloria was Grandma Gloria to
all the students there for all the special things she did for the school
and the students. Gloria enjoyed the time she spent at Forest Lake, her
plants and her many pets but most important was the time spent with her
family.
Survivors include her daughter Jeanie (Mike)
Gremminger of Campbellsport, her grandsons Cody, Lucas and Tanner, her
Godson Todd Schmidt of Montana, other relatives and many, many friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Alfred on
Oct. 5, 2005
Memorial services will be held on Wed. Feb. 19th
at 6:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St. Campbellsport,
with Rev. Edwin Kornath officiating. Visitation will be Wed. Feb. 19th
from 4:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of
flowers memorials are appreciated to the Humane Society in her name.
