No other college football conference is scoring points the way the Big Ten has in the first two weeks of 2019. The conference-wide average is over 40 points per game, which is tops in the nation. On the heels of Penn State and Maryland each putting up a season high 79 points in week one, Maryland hung another 63 points on Syracuse in week two and Wisconsin scored 61 against Central Michigan. Wisconsin has outscored their opponents 110-to-zero through their first two games, making the Badgers the first FBS team to score at least 100 points, while allowing zero in the first two games since South Carolina did it in 1980. Every team in the conference – except Northwestern – is averaging at least 32 points.
