The Packers held off the New England Patriots 26-21 in front
of an Lambeau Field record 78,431 fans on Sunday afternoon.  Aaron Rodgers threw for 368 yards and two
TDs. Davante Adams caught 6 passes for 121 yards.  Jordy Nelson caught just 2 passes but one
went for a 45 yard score late in the 1st half.  Eddie Lacy had 21 carries for 98 yards.  The win improves the Packers to 9-3 overall,
which is good for a one game lead over Detroit
in the NFC North.  The Packers host Atlanta next week on
Monday Night Football.  You’ll hear it on

The Badger football team will play in the Big Ten
Championship Game for the 3rd time in four seasons on Saturday when
they take on Ohio State in Indianapolis.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 5pm with the kickoff set
for 7:17pm.

 

The University
of Nebraska
has fired
head football coach Bo Pelini after seven seasons on the job.  The Cornhuskers won at least 9 games every
season under Pelini but were just 8-19 vs. AP top 25 teams and never won a
conference title.

 

Alabama
is #1 in both the Coaches and AP college football polls this week. Florida State
is #2, followed by Oregon,
and TCU.  The Badgers are #11 in both
polls.
