Ike Floyd ran for 3 first half touchdowns as St. Mary’s Springs rolled by Lomira 66-0 on Saturday night at Fruth Field.  The Ledgers led 42-0 after the first quarter and 59-0 at the break.  SMSA is 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the Flyway.  Lomira is 1-3 and 0-2.  The Ledgers head to Mayville next Friday.  You’ll hear the game on K107.1-FM presented by BCI Burke Company

The Fond du Lac girls cross country team was 7th at a meet in Menomonee Falls on Saturday.  Megan Buechel was 4th and Annie Moore 5th to pace Fondy.

New Holstein went 2-2 at a Beaver Dam tournament.


The Wisconsin Badgers lost to Arizona State 32-30 on Saturday night in Tempe.  The game ended in controversy as UW drove down for an apparent game winning field goal attempt when QB Joel Stave took a knee with :18 seconds left.  An Arizona State player jumped on the football and layed on not allowing the football to be spotting and the clock ran out.  Melvin Gordon ran for 193 yards and two TDs. The Badgers host Purdue to open the Big Ten next Saturday at 11am.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.
