Agnesian Healthcare Officially Now SSM Health

Agnesian HealthCare employees, providers, volunteers and community members celebrated Wednesday as they launched their new name and united under one brand, SSM Health. Hospital leaders unveiled new signs in Fond du Lac, Ripon and Waupun, along with a renewed commitment to patients.

The most visible part of the transition to the SSM Health brand includes new logos and name modifications that incorporate the SSM Health brand into Agnesian HealthCare hospitals, clinics and care centers. Instead of individual entity names first and “a member of SSM Health,” second, SSM Health will now be incorporated in the same or slightly modified ministry name.

Beginning today, here is a representation of the main Agnesian HealthCare facilities name changes:

SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic

SSM Health Ripon Community Hospital

SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital – Fond du Lac

SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital

SSM Health Express Clinic (Agnesian Convenient Care Clinic)

At this time, the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation and The Foundation for Ripon Medical Center will maintain their current names.

In addition, individuals who utilize the agnesian.com website to gather information about programs and services within Agnesian HealthCare will automatically be redirected to the ssmhealth.com website where all information will be migrated to.

“The new name and logo are the final step in making our partnership official,” according to Katherine Vergos, SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital President. “In January 2018, Agnesian HealthCare consolidated with SSM Health because both health care organizations shared the same values and vision of serving our communities. Over the last few years, we have integrated every department and refined our shared vision to serve our communities even better than before. The only thing left to do is change the name and logo to reflect our unification.”

While the signs are changing over to the new SSM Health logo, patients will see the same providers they have come to know and trust in the same locations they are familiar with.

“Today, we’re renewing our vow to this community and everyone we serve,” says Matt Hanley, Interim SSM Health Wisconsin Regional President. “While the look may be changing, the mission and commitment to provide an exceptional experience to every patient remains the same.”

Over the coming months, the signs outside and inside each facility will be changing over to the new SSM Health logo; however, patients will see the same providers they have come to know and trust in the same locations they are familiar with.

Our new name honors the City of Ripon’s commitment 85 years ago to start a hospital that has grown into a valued treasure.”
