Woman Hits Deer, Then Gets Hit From Behind

One buck ended up costing lots of bucks Tuesday night.

The FDL County Sheriff’s department took a call Tuesday night just before 8:30 p.m. from a 27-year old female who said she had struck a deer, and once she stepped on her brakes, was hit from behind.

The incident occurred on Highway WH and Konen Rd., near Malone. There were no injuries reported.
