Wautoma Man Arrested For 4th OWI In FDL County

Joseph J Brown, 39 years of age, from Wautoma has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Fond du Lac Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 4th offense.

Just before 8:10 p.m. Friday (1/29/2022) a driving complaint was received for a vehicle that could not maintain its lane. A Trooper located the vehicle and observed the same driving behavior.

Upon stopping the vehicle, signs of impairment were observed. Standard Field Sobriety Tests were administered and the driver was then arrested for OWI 4th offense.

“Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.”
