Active Shooter Survival Training Available

Envision Greater Fond du Lac and the Society for Human Resource Management group have announced a training seminar to prepare yourself for an active shooter situation.

The training will take place Thursday morning, April 20th from 8-9:30 at C.D. Smith Construction at 125 Camelot Drive in Fond du Lac.

Fond du Lac Police Department Officer Eric Foster will be presenting the training which will be broke up between different segments including the psychology of how people react in these situations, active shooter events, looking at what has worked and what hasn’t, and how civilians should respond.

Foster says “It’s about getting you to think about how you would survive a shooting. The training isn’t going to make you survive. It’s going to give the best chance to survive.”

The cost for the event is $10 for Envision Greater Fond du Lac members and $15 for non members.
