Alto Fair one week away

The Alto Fair is one week away, starting Wednesday, August 12th, 2026.

Known as one of the “biggest little” fairs in Wisconsin, it’s a 4-H and Farm Bureau event characterized by its small-town charm.

Key Activities & Attractions include 4-H livestock judging, livestock exhibitions, and a livestock auction. Live music with Copper Box playing Wednesday night. Fireworks, carnival rides, and a huge parade at 1 p.m. on Thursday.

Also included are Tractor and horse pulls, children’s pedal tractor pulls, and a pie contest.

A Country breakfast will be served each morning.

The Alto fair takes place mid-week to avoid conflicting with weekend church services, starting on Wednesday and ending on Thursday.
