Bird & Nature Alliance February Program to feature pollinators
Though the temperature is cold, it’s not too early for the Fond du Lac Bird & Nature Alliance to start thinking about spring vegetation and the supporting pollinators that help plants grow.
The organization will host a talk titled Gardening for Pollinators Using Native Plants, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 7 p.m., at MPTC, in Room B141.
The presentation will feature Fond du Lac Bird & Nature Alliance Vice-President Margie Winter, who will give the presentation about supporting pollinators as well as birds with the use of native plants in your yards and gardens. Winter will share information and photos of native plant species she grows in the gardens on her property that maintain adult pollinators as well as pollinator larvae.
The community is invited to the presentation.
